Educator of the Year

Purpose:
The Educator of the Year award is presented to a certified registered nurse anesthetist from one of the Ohio nurse anesthesia programs or clinical sites. The award
recognizes a CRNA who has excelled in his/her teaching and mentorship of a student nurse anesthetist. Specifically, this award will recognize an educator who has
demonstrated exceptional dedication to the education and personal development of their students.

Eligibility:
The nominee must be:
  • Registered as a CRNA in the state of Ohio
  • A member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
Criteria:
Nomination submissions should include a detailed account of the individual’s overall contributions made to the personal and/or professional advancement of his/her
students. Details about the nominee’s contributions to the overall education of the student should be shared as well.

Process:
Complete the nomination form below. Letters of support from additional students or colleagues can be included as well, but are not necessary.

Selection Process:
The OSANA Nurse Anesthetist Student Board will decide the recipient each year.

Deadline and Notification:
Nominations will be accepted until January 31st. Award recipients will be notified of the award after that time.
